Kalasam Sacred Herbs and Foods Private Limited (KSHFPL) is a unique startup of its kind, going to be the first Organic Food Park (OFP) in the country with shareholders and stakeholders from Farmer Producer Companies, engaged in production and supply of certified organic herbs and agri produces, social entrepreneurs who have competence in value addition and marketing, organic brands both in India and abroad.

Kalasam Sacred Herbs and Foods Private Limited (KSHFPL) is a company experienced in farmer mobilization and training them to convert from chemical to organic cultivation, get them organically certified and help them to remain certified.
We are a company into social business of promoting Natural Farming and traditional medicine.
KSHF forms a part of Kalasam Group of Organizations and the Gram Mooligai Group who are the pioneers in the Certified Organic produce and authentic Herbal Raw Drug Industry. They are the creators of India's onlysurviving EMF Forest.

Who We Are

Kalasams are the child of Not for profit organization CCD (The Covenant Centre for Development) (CCD) Madurai-originated NGO, active primarily in the drought prone areas of Tamil Nadu state in the south & 4 central Indian states (M. P., Maharshtra, Chhattisgarh & Orissa).

It promotes medicinal plants and agriculture based sustainable livelihoods for poverty alleviation in the drylands and forest areas, for the women, the landless and the small farmers, including the backward/ scheduledcastes/tribes.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to be India's Leading Raw Drug supplier from organically certified produces directly from the primary producers to the end users, and further be the worlds most prominent household name in the D2C Segments in Partnership with multiple FPO's has pledged to uplift the life of Farmers and Local tribes and has comeup with various programme and welfare measures for them. Our aim is to ensure meeting the sustainable development goals (STG).

Our Mission

Kalasam mission is to build community institutions and enterprises for long term sustainability using local resources and traditional skills (LRTS) aided by the modern technology. Kalasam believes in promoting sustainable agricultural technologies that are based on farmers’ knowledge and skills, their innovation based on local conditions and their use of nature’s products and processes to gain better control over the pre-production.
